I first came across Louisa as the name on a book cover - searching for M&E texts to support my work as a volunteer in South America. Later i came to know her as a colleague at WaterAid and was pleased to find that the clear and authoritative writer was also someone who was able to give clear and level-headed advice. She was a lovely person to work with and i'd like to thank as well as send condolences to the family and friends who supported her and enabled her to be the person she was.
